I really think that the rates of eatables and water is sold at a very high price, maybe three times the normal price. People pay for it because they have no choice, but I think its irrational to pay Rs 30 for water, which is actually for Rs 10. At multiplexes, the rate of eatables is phenomenally high. Popcorn for Rs 40??? Samosa for Rs 30 for 2 small pieces?? What will the common man - say a middle class family eat? Or shouldn't they go to such multiplexes at all? Cant they enjoy the atmosphere of a multiplex ever, Without calculating how much of their salary would be spent in watching one movie!
I think its time, someone raises their voice for this issue, which looks trivial but is in the mind of every man who feels cheated, each time they feel thirsty and buy water at an airport or a multiplex! Time to wake up!
